Terms & Conditions
At Vero Beach Electrical, we aim to offer transparent pricing for all our services. Our hourly rate for an electrician is $150, and for an experienced apprentice, the rate is $50 – $75 per hour. We may send an apprentice in certain situations to provide the best value for our clients, while maintaining quality and safety.
Reasons for Sending an Apprentice:
1. Cost Savings: When the work requires both an electrician and an apprentice, we ensure cost-effective pricing. For example, if the work involves 4 hours and part of the tasks can be performed by the apprentice, we will charge 2 hours for the electrician and 2 hours for the apprentice, reducing the overall cost.
2. Safety: Certain jobs, like running circuits through hot attics or installing fixtures on high ceilings, require two people for safety. One person works in the attic while the other assists to prevent heat exhaustion, or one person works on scaffolding while the other stays on the ground. These situations require a team to protect everyone involved.
3. Physical Limitations: Some tasks, such as installing large fixtures like chandeliers or handling heavy spools of wiring, require two or more people for safe and effective completion. In these cases, we send multiple team members to ensure the job is done properly without risk of damage or injury.
Cancellation Fees and Deposits:
-
We require a credit card number, and a deposit of $150, to hold your appointment.
-
Cancellation must be made at least 1 full business day prior to your scheduled appointment in order to be refunded your deposit (less credit card fees). All other cancellations will not be refunded.
- In the event of an emergency, all or part of your cancellation fee may, at the owners’ discretion, be applied to future services.
- Jobs for which Vero Beach Electrical provides an estimate or proposal require a 50% deposit prior to our beginning work.
Payment Policy:
- Payment is due upon receipt of invoice.
- Given the demand for our services, electricians do not create client invoices. An invoice will be sent to you within 5 business days indicating the total cost for your service.
-
Payment will be charged to the credit card on file. You will be sent an email letting you know the invoice balance charged to your card and a copy of your detailed, paid invoice.
